The auction page
- Bidding is automatic
- Using the minimum increment for the price range, the system bids the amount
most favourable to the bidder.
Price range Minimum increment < ¥1,000 ¥10 < ¥10,000 ¥100 < ¥30,000 ¥500 < ¥100,000 ¥1,000 < ¥500,000 ¥5,000 < ¥2,000,000 ¥10,000 < ¥5,000,000 ¥50,000 ≥ ¥5,000,000 ¥100,000 - Automatic extension
- If a bid is placed within 5 minutes of the close, the end time is extended by the minutes remaining plus 5 minutes.
- Time remaining
- The countdown begins once the first bid has been placed, and the auction ends when the set period has elapsed. An auction with no bids never starts.
- Item details > Duration
- The auction ends when this many days have passed from the day of the first bid.
- Pay a deposit (option)
- On an auction carrying this option you are asked to pay a deposit before you
can bid.
- If you win: the amount billed = (winning price − the deposit already paid) + shipping.
- If you do not win: the deposit is refunded. Please request the refund from Contact. (PayPal or cryptocurrency transfer fees are deducted.)
The deposit is forfeited if a participant cancels after winning for reasons of their own, delays payment, obstructs the auction, or does anything the operator judges to be equivalent. That judgement is made by the operator and is not published. Please carry a won transaction through without incident.
- Reserve price
- An auction carrying this option can only be won at or above the reserve price that has been set.
- Buy-It-Now price
- An auction carrying this option can be won at the Buy-It-Now price. Whatever the price was until then, the Buy-It-Now price becomes the winning price.
- Skip bid confirmation
- Skips the confirmation step, so clicking the bid button places the bid immediately.
- Apply to bid (option)
- On an auction carrying this option you apply to the seller for permission before bidding. Only approved participants can take part.
- Open Time
- Bidding becomes possible from this date and time. Before it you can view the auction page but cannot bid — a showcase period.
- Payment methods
- PayPal, cryptocurrency and bank transfer are available.
Check in advance which of them a given listing accepts.
- PayPal — a 4.2% PayPal fee applies, both to the winning payment and to a bid deposit.
- Cryptocurrency — a 0.5% payment fee applies, both to the winning payment and to a bid deposit.
- Bank transfer — available within Japan only. Transfer fees are paid by the buyer. Nothing is added to the winning price.
Cryptocurrency accepted as of 2026/09/01: XRP
Operator listings accept PayPal, cryptocurrency and bank transfer. On a Market Seller listing, the seller chooses from those methods.
- Shipping
- When the seller is in Japan and has chosen prepaid shipping, the cost is calculated automatically from the winner's address, whether that is in Japan or overseas. When the seller has chosen freight collect, no shipping is added to the amount billed. Freight collect is never applied to a winner outside Japan: international shipping is calculated instead.
- Questions
- You can ask the seller about the item.
- When you cannot bid
- You cannot bid if the seller has blacklisted you, while your account is suspended, on an auction the administrator has placed on hold, or on your own listings.
Payment
Once you have won, the item appears under My Page > Won Items. Items bought from the same seller are combined into a single payment.
- Payment currency
- PayPal — payment is in Japanese yen. Whatever currency the auction is displayed in, the amount billed is always JPY. A fee of 4.2% is added.
- Bank transfer — payment is in Japanese yen. Whatever currency the auction is displayed in, the amount billed is always JPY. No fee is charged.
- Cryptocurrency — the amount is converted from the auction's display currency at that day's cryptocurrency rate, and billed in cryptocurrency. A fee of 0.5% is added.
- Paid, Received
- For PayPal and cryptocurrency, the bar advances to Paid and
Received automatically once the incoming payment is confirmed. For a bank
transfer, click the Paid panel yourself; the bar moves on when the seller
confirms receipt.
The payment deadline is 3 days, counting the day the auction ends. If payment is not completed by 23:59 Japan time on the third day, the deposit is forfeited on an auction where one was set. Please watch the deadline.
- Shipped
- When the seller has shipped, they click the Shipped panel to advance the bar.
- Arrived
- Once you have received the item, click the Arrived panel.
